Job Description

Within Christie, our team is passionate about working with our customers to innovatively solve problems. As part of the Customer Quality Engineering team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with our customers and take actions to ensure their satisfaction.  This role’s main focus is driving root cause analysis and quick resolution to field problems as well as collaborating closely with Christie engineering, operations groups and 3rd party suppliers to develop permanent, long term solutions.  The successful candidate will be self-motivated, and have the ability to work in a fast paced, agile environment and will seek to anticipate customer needs.

As part of our Customer Quality Engineering team, you will have the opportunity to

  • Consults with high profile customers
  • Collaborate and lead cross functional problem solving teams
  • Work with all global teams and act as the main escalation contact
  • Support customers and vendors specifically, in a B2B environment
  • Improve product quality and overall customer experience


  • University degree or a 3 year college diploma in a technical or communication field
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in design and manufacturing industry
  • Strong presentation skills to facilitate and lead cross-functional meetings
  • Strong Influence and Negotiation skills to help achieve desired outcome
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience in root cause analysis and problem solving tools/skills (e.g. fishbone, 5-why, 8D)
  • Strong MS Office skills specifically in Excel and data analysis

Experience in the following is an asset:

  • Video processing technology
  • System design and integration
  • Design and manufacturing processes
  • Project management

This is a hybrid work opportunity with approximately 60% in-office and 40% remote.
