GENERAL SUMMARY OF THE  WASH OPERATOR

Operates solvent tumbler to deburr and wash miniature parts as well as wax parts. Along with the Manor automatic washers to clean machined parts and pans between manufacturing operations as required. Avoids mixing parts during cleaning operations. Continuous Improvement of processes and products are an ongoing function of this position.

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Production – maximum flow of material through the tumbler area.
2. Quality – condition parts after operation and frequency or mixed parts.
3. Maintains running log for production scheduling to rapid changes.
4. Manages the waste streams and waste water in conjunction with waste treatment.
5. Solvent inventory management, inbound inventory and out bound.
6. Operates solvent tumbler to deburr and clean parts, including miniatures, after manufacturing operations as required.
7. Run Manor automatic washers as needed.
8. Operates forklift and uses hand trucks to move parts to proper staging areas.

 

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED

• Required Hs Diploma/GED OR Relevant experience.
• Fluent in English (both strong verbal and written communication skills).
• Data entry on PC.
• Knowledge on basic SPC skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

 

HOURS: Monday - Friday 3 p.m. – 11 p.m.
