Kohler Signature Store Manager


The Kohler Signature Store (KSS) offers a unique comprehensive shopping experience in a high-end kitchen and bath showroom. The KSS Manager oversees the store and sales team by offering leadership in design, sales, and customer service ensuring the customer experiences the Kohler brand and the store exceeds their shopping expectations. The Showroom Manager is responsible for all aspects of financial performance in his/her showroom including sales, margins and expenses. This role is critical in delivering a gracious client experience and driving sales growth.


Your day to day:

Set and manage expectations for the customer experience.

·      Maintain showroom to the high standards consistent with the Kohler Signature Store brand.

·      Train all associates on the company’s expected processes for showroom and outreach sales process, ensuring consistent, high-quality interactions at each stage of the sales process.

·       Oversee in store and in-home design consultations for kitchens and bathrooms.

·       Establish “best practices” and procedures for the store.

·      Effectively resolve customer issues, ensuring timely resolution of problems.

·      Lead by example, developing your own client relationships, delivering superior service and sales results.

·      Create connections with the architectural and design community through active participation in trade, industry and networking groups and events. Design in-showroom events to further solidify these relationships and drive continued business growth.


Drive sales floor of the showroom:

·       Coordinate all training programs with Kohler and be capable of facilitating designated on-site training programs.

·      Manage time and attendance, including coordination of team and vacation schedules, and adjustments to schedules as needed to meet business demands.

·      Drive all reporting processes for the showroom, including daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports.

·      Take appropriate actions to ensure maximum profitability and efficiency of the business based on your analysis of the report data.

·      Ensure office support structure is maintained, including supplies and equipment.

·      Operate within Hajoca processes and procedures with a large degree of autonomy.


Manage performance results:

  •  Ensure operational and sales goals are met for the showroom, through effective management of individual contributor results, management of margin, cost control and operational efficiencies. Take full ownership for managing the P&L for the showroom.
  • Provide weekly staff meetings, monthly one-on-ones and annual performance reviews.
  • Achieve profitability and meet all financial, merchandising, and customer service objectives. 
  • Proactively coach associates who are not meeting performance expectations, to identify deliverables and expectations to get performance back on track. 
  • Drive sales and achieve or exceed monthly sales and margin goal.


Our ideal candidate will have:

·       Experience with architectural blueprints and have a strong sense of aesthetics a plus.

·       Previous plumbing, tile, cabinetry, lighting or design experience a plus.
*Bachelor's Degree preferred.
