E-Commerce Sales - Customer Service Specialist
Job Purpose
Responsible for processing eCommerce orders. Resolve complaints, errors, order questions, billing, cancellations, and other queries.
Duties and Responsibilities
Utilize computer technology (ERP, online selling platforms, ticket management system, etc.) to fulfill orders
Electronically view, update and print order tickets
Arrange shipping or freight when necessary
Suggest solutions/alternatives when item unavailable or discontinued
Communicate with customers via phone and email
Assist with placement of orders, cancellations or exchanges
Resolve customer complaints via phone, email, or social media
Greet customers warmly and ascertain problem or reason for calling
Understand and advise customers on online policies (shipping, returns, dates, etc.)
Answer questions about terms of sale
Attempt to persuade customer to reconsider cancellation
Inform customers of deals and promotions
Up-sell/cross-sell products and services
Work with Customer Service Supervisor to ensure proper customer service is being delivered and processes and procedures are being followed
Close out or open tickets
Interact with Data Specialists, Showroom staff and Warehouse staff
Qualifications
Education - Associates degree or Bachelor's degree preferred
Specialized knowledge Must have at least two years of customer service experience
Skills Experience with ERP(Eclipse) a plus
Strong communication and written skills
Self Motivated and Enthusiastic
Ability to work in a high-energy, fast paced environment and easily adapt to change
