Hajoca is looking for qualified candidates to join our Sales and Leadership Development Program and pursue a long-term career in sales or operations. We will invest in a candidate’s future by providing a 22 month development program that exposes them to all aspects of our business. You bring the attitude and hard work, we will teach you the industry. During the program, we will work in a structured, thorough manner to develop an aligned understanding of their skill sets and long-term career desires.

 

The purpose of this program is to attract, retain, and develop individuals who can progress through a structured development program to become high performing teammates. The ultimate goal is to strengthen the teams at the local level by seeking out and integrating high potential people who are looking for a strong, stable company with a great culture and future opportunities. The end result for you is limitless; you could go on to be an inside sales teammate, outside sales individual, warehouse manager, or operations manager. This is a 22 month program with 4 distinct phases.  Additional duties and responsibilities as follows:

-Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture

-Set clear team goals


-Delegate tasks and set deadlines


-Oversee day-to-day operations


-Monitor team performance and report on metrics


-Motivate team members


-Discover training needs and provide coaching


-Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts


-Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments


-Encourage creativity and risk-taking


-Suggest and organize team building activities

Phase 1: Operations – Receiving, Shipping, Vendor Returns, Deliveries, Truck Maintenance, Product Knowledge Sessions…

Phase 2: Counter Sales, Outside Sales, Work with Contractors, Administration…

Phase 3: Inside Sales or Operations deep dive – Pricing, Margin Management, Bids, Quotes, Submittals, Procurement, Job Scheduling, Vendor Relations, inventory reports, fleet management…

Phase 4: Career Discussion…


All interested applicants must possess: 
• 4-year college degree or 4 years of military experience

• Demonstrated experience in a leadership role

• Ability to communicate in English (orally and written) in both group and one-on-one situations

• Ability to quickly adapt and react to changes within the work environment

• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
