The HSE Field Representative is responsible for assisting and providing a safe working environment for Alamo Pressure Pumping employees and any third-party personnel involved in Alamo operations.


The HSE Field Representative is tasked with, but not limited to:

  • Investigates work related incidents efficiently
  • Responds to and documents accidents and injuries
  • Responds to environmental spills
  • Conducts environmental reporting
  • Performs safety meetings
  • Ensure and enforce HSE policies and procedures are in place and adhered to
  • Conduct facility and field training
  • Conduct safety training for new employees
  • Ensures DOT regulations are enforced
  • Monitor DOT logs for accuracy
  • Performs Gate Checks and equipment and personnel
  • Enforces applicable company policies and procedures
  • Facilitates drug testing procedures
  • Performs HSE site assessments at regular intervals and enforces compliance
  • Exercise a high level of discretion and independent judgment
  • Additional tasks as assigned by management


  • Applicable degree in Health, Safety and Environmental preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 1 year field safety experience in hydraulic fracturing services
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Ability to use independent judgment to determine if events or processes comply with laws
  • Must be able to efficiently read, write and speak in the English language
  • Ability to use sophisticated computer software programs to achieve job functions
  • Must be able to obtain, understand and utilize regulations, standards and relevant information
  • Be able to develop, organize and prioritize goals and plans to accomplish work efficiently
  • Ability to observe, listen, receive and obtain information from multiple relevant sources
  • Ability to be flexible and self-motivated
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality


This position requires work both indoors and outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions, including precipitation, cold / heat, high wind, and turbulent conditions. Ability to safely navigate work sites with occasional walking, climbing, standing, stepping, etc., during normal operating conditions (day/night, outdoor hot/cold weather) and while utilizing designated personal protective equipment (PPE). The candidate must work with an emphasis on safety for themselves and others including coworkers and third parties. They must be able to work closely with others and under time-sensitive deadlines including potential emergency response situations. They must be willing to work extended schedules that will include working days, nights, weekends and holidays. Variable work hours include regular after-hours and possible weekend commitments. Possible travel to job sites as needed.
