Under the direction of the Director of Sales and Hospitality, the DTC Logistics Manager is based at Concannon Winery in Livermore, CA, and is responsible for being a proactive part of the winery inventory and shipping team. Responsibilities include overseeing the internal shipping department, managing inventory, reviewing shipping orders for all channels, customer service, event execution, support of tasting room supply and stocking and processing outbound sales orders. The position requires time management and extreme attention to detail.


  • Overseeing all wine and non-wine shipping orders with specific attention to compliance
  • Maintain up-to-date inventory for Livermore location
  • Manage onsite internal shipping department
  • Manage Hospitality Support Assistants team
  • Approve payroll for team
  • Create and distribute up-to-date shipping and inventory information to all channels
  • Manage cleanliness and organization of Concannon warehouses
  • Setup and submit registration for all shipping products in various systems
  • Submit weekly wine orders for Livermore location
  • Communicate with outbound sales team and process orders daily
  • Provide best in class customer service via phone and email in response to shipping inquiries
  • Project a professional company image through in-person, phone and email interaction
  • SOP and best practices development
  • Employee education and training
  • Support all channels in set up, tear down, scheduling and execution of events
  • Manage and schedule off-site events
  • Some minor maintenance of Concannon property

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of two years shipping and inventory management experience
  • Provide excellent verbal and written communications to all levels of management, both internally and externally
  • Ability to set priorities and work independently within set guidelines; display appropriate sense of urgency
  • Knowledge of the wine industry, Wineshipping, ShipCompliant, Navision, and JDE a plus
  • Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, the Internet and computer aptitude
  • Discretion with confidential information
  • Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with attention to detail
  • Work independently within set guidelines
  • Demonstrate reliability and punctuality, work effectively in team/crew environment, adherence to all safety regulations and operating procedures


  • Position operates in a professional office environment
  • Working environment has exposure to both indoors and outdoors
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, standing, and twisting in the performance of various tasks
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and carry weights of up to 50 pounds at varying frequencies
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
