Marketing Operations Director
The director of marketing operations role focuses on the strategy, execution, and operations of lead management processes, marketing databases, marketing automation solutions, and tracking performance in order to plan, report, and conduct analyses.
- Provide and train on best practices for marketing automation and demand generation in campaign management, lead routing, processes, and data integrity
- Manage and evolve the marketing tech stack and integrations
- Maintain, monitor, and grow database
- Work with Demand Generation team to translate business requirements into technical requirements
- Maintain lead lifecycle, routing, and scoring from Marketo, and translate to actions within Salesforce; monitor the closed-loop process to continuously improve lead quality, use data to make campaign efficiency decisions.
- Maintain marketing-related Salesforce objects and automation including Process builders, flows, and workflow rules for Campaigns, Campaign Members, Leads, and Contacts.
- Create, maintain, and validate reporting within Marketo, Bizible, Salesforce and DOMO.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 8+ years experience in this or similar role, working with similar tech stack
- Marketo experience required
- Knowledge and experience with business applications including Salesforce, Ringlead, Bizible, 6sense, Stensul, Drift, Zoominfo, and DOMO
- Experience with database building a plus
- Experience in marketing to education a plus
- Experience in ed tech or experience working in higher education a big plus
- Good communication skills, ability to details of systems administration, but also create dashboards and reports that surface key insights
- Relevant experience is more important than a college degree
